Want to make a difference for nature and your community? Volunteer with Natural Lands!

Our volunteers enjoy getting outdoors, meeting new friends, and giving back in support of saving open space and caring for nature. You can work a few hours at an organized volunteer service project, or make a deeper, on-going commitment through our Force of Nature® volunteer program.

be a Force of Nature

Our Force of Nature® volunteer program provides comprehensive training and leadership opportunities for volunteers who commit to serving 20 hours per year. Force of Nature volunteers learn valuable land management and conservation strategies, hone outreach and leadership skills, and become important Natural Lands ambassadors.

volunteer events

Bring friends, family, a school club, scout troop, or church group to one of our preserves for a day of learning, fun, and service. Volunteer events are a  great opportunity for people of all backgrounds and experiences to plant trees, control invasive plants, maintain trails, count birds and butterflies, and much more.

No experience necessary; we provide on-site instruction and tools (and usually goodies, too!).
