stairs and trails

This summer the staff at ChesLen Preserve completed a long wooden staircase on the purple loop with the help of the Chester County Youth Probation office. This trail had to be re-routed due to flooding so this stairway was an excellent improvement for this section of  trail.

Over nine miles of hiking trails lead visitors through shady woodlands, flower-filled meadows, fields of corn and soybeans, and stream valleys at ChesLen Preserve. Want to see for yourself? You can find the staircase near Potters Field where the purple loop meets the red trail. Check out our trail map to plan your next outdoor adventure with us!
