Palmer Park Beautification Day

On August 20th volunteers pulled on their garden gloves to spruce-up the community play space at Palmer Park in Coatesville. Natural Lands was delighted to support local partners, neighbors, and community members in an afternoon of service to beautify the park by removing weeds, raking leaves, and prepping the rain garden for additional flowers. (We even met a few kids ready to pick up a bucket and try on some garden gloves too!)

This May, Palmer Park held a ribbon cutting for the new nature and water playground. The water and play area was made possible through the Greening Coatesville initiative: a partnership of the City of Coatesville, Brandywine Health Foundation, and Natural Lands. This volunteer day was held as a part of our continued commitment to maintaining this space with the community.

Thanks to all the great volunteers who came out to the park to keep this space beautiful!
