Mariton: Wildflower Walk

I have a Wildflower Walk scheduled on Saturday, from 9 a.m. – noon.  I wrote the schedule in March, and things are late this spring.  (I was honestly considering cancelling the walk because of no-shows:  flowers, not people.)  But on our Bird Walk, we saw several species in bloom.  We are behind, but by Saturday there will be enough wildflowers around to make the walk worthwhile.  The Wake Robin Trillium (Trillium erectum) pictured above was blooming on Tuesday.
