Mariton: Goldenrod

Eastern Bumblebee on goldenrod.

The Goldenrod in the fields recently turned a brilliant yellow.  The patches glow in the morning light.  Asters, snakeroot and other flowers are also blooming.  Carole went up to the fields and captured some great photos.
