Crow’s Nest: Plow with the snow

These words of advice appear in the snow plow user manual: plow with the snow. By the time the blizzard is finished the snow will be too deep, traction too scarce.

Eight hours of plowing and shoveling have left me a little tired… but it was a beautiful day.The black cherry tree visible from our parking area makes a dramatic sight in the snow:

This was a much different snow than the last one… a more typical (for us) wet snow. Not so easy to plow.
