The last week of camp introduces a different group of kids to our 7th and 8th grade program. Same activities: kayaking on the Schuylkill River, a visit to Bryn Coed (below), trust games and puzzles, service project at Crow’s Nest, and revisiting memories of past Crow’s Nest Camps.

The summer programs are complete. We’ve been blessed to spend time with a great bunch of kids, and we enter autumn a little more optimistic for the future having watched these kids grow up at Crow’s Nest Camp.

We are also grateful for the dedication and work of our staff and volunteers to make this camp possible: Molly Smyrl heads up our programs and puts in a huge amount of time for summer camp. Assistant Manager Cody Hudgens helped with several weeks of camp, and Long-term Intern Allie Cook staffed each week, as did Education Intern Mya Sanders. We were assisted by former summer campers who staffed individual weeks of camp: Anya Groff, Fiona Sanders, Connor Carey, Molly Stone, and Ryan Decker. And Pete and Eloise Smyrl volunteered at each week of camp. Thank you all for making the summer programs a success!

Fall kids’ programs will begin in a little over a month.
