With the rain and (relatively) warm temperatures there are apt to be many amphibians on the move tonight. Peeper and wood frogs (pictured here) are already calling from the wetlands, but many frogs and salamanders will be joining them—making use of the weather conditions that keep them from drying out.

If you have to travel on back roads in natural areas, keep on the lookout for these delightful creatures.
