Mariton: Trail Conditions

The trails are in remarkably good shape. In fact, they might be in better shape than the roads you need to drive to get to Mariton.  We have received over 9 inches of rain this week.  So, some of the rocky trails are a little more rocky now, but all of the trails are walkable.

All of this rain has raised the water tables.  That in turn has activated springs on the hillside.  The springs have put water on parts of the Woods and Turnpike Trails.  The parking lot is also wet from springs flowing on the hill above the Nature Center.  Other than a few soggy spots, the trails are basically dry.
