Mariton: May the Forest Be With You

It is May 4th.  May the Forest be With You.  Forests are much more than just trees.  They provide homes for all sorts of creatures that can’t live in other habitats.  Forests recycle carbon dioxide.  Forests cool the earth and control flooding.  Forests provide food, shelter and medicines for humans.  Each type of forest has unique combinations of plants and animals.  Walking in the forest is soothing (even in the rain).
