Green Hills: Volunteer Day Sunday July 11

We’ll be out at Green Hills Preserve, 553 Gunhart Road in Mohnton, tomorrow from 2 – 4 pm. We’ll be cutting vines along one of the wooded trails, and perhaps cleaning up an old shed. It’ll be a hot day, but dress appropriately for the woods. Wear long pants and sturdy shoes, bring water and gloves, and if you have them, hand pruners, hand saw, or loppers.

By the way, this photo is looking back across the farm fields toward the field of black-eyed Susans. There is also some coreopsis and monarda blooming in that field now too.
