Crow’s Nest Camp Week One

Our summer camp is a day camp, but if it was an overnight camp these photos could be postcards to home: “Just hanging out at Crow’s Nest Camp.”

The first week of camp was for the 5th and 6th graders, an experienced bunch in the woods. We have a new play area across the creek this summer, where the kids built swings and climbed on trees.

Each day we took a hayride over to the remote campsite, played in the creek, went on small group hikes (the better to observe nature) and played a game of giant chutes and ladders in the barn.

This is the first week of five, and was a great way to start off the summer!
