Saunders Woods Preserve is a lovely backdrop for practicing meditation in motion. Join instructor Aimée Alegria Barry as she leads you through some relaxing, easy steps of tai chi walking to bring together mind and body. She’ll also teach several slow-moving qigong stretches to help deepen your breathing and focus. We hope you’ll leave Saunders Woods feeling calm and centered, ready for the rest of your day.
About the instructor:
Aimee Alegria Barry from Centaur Tai Chi began studying Yang style tai chi and chi qigong more than 30 years ago. She also holds a black belt in tae kwon do. Aimee’s movement background includes dance, Pilates, and therapeutic horsemanship.

Your safety:
I understand that I am participating in a class/workshop/retreat, offered by Natural Lands, led by Centaur Tai Chi, during which I will receive information and instruction about tai chi and health. I recognize that tai chi may require some physical exertion, which may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.
I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in the class/workshop/retreat. I represent and warrant that I am physically fit and I have no medical condition which would prevent my full participation in the class/workshop/retreat.
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the class/workshop/retreat, I agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of participating in the class/workshop/retreat, including following the CDC’s and State of Pennsylvania’s guidelines for the correct social distancing rules for COVID-19.
I recognize that it is my responsibility to notify my teacher of pregnancy, any serious illness or injury before every class.

I have read this Agreement, fully understand its terms, understand that I have given up substantial rights by registering for this event, and have done so freely and without any inducement or assurance of any nature and intend it to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law and agree that if any portion of this agreement is held to be invalid, the balance, notwithstanding, shall continue in full force and effect.
