Crow’s Nest: Volunteer day success!

Our volunteers are the best! The planned workday on the Horse-Shoe Trail was postponed due to wet conditions making it difficult to get gravel trucked in to the work site, so we pivoted on Friday to prepare for another needed project at Crow’s Nest. Aubrey Smith trailered in two tons of gravel, staging some at each end of the Creek Trail. Then volunteers Saturday moved the gravel by bucket and wheelbarrow to wet spots far along the trail that are only reachable on foot.

If you visit now you will find hiking the Creek Trail a far more pleasant experience, and these are the people you can thank!
