Crow’s Nest: Trail camera roundup

I put Alec in charge of maintaining our trail camera and he’s proven adept at choosing good locations. I tend to leave it in one place for many months, but he has moved it around to several carefully-chosen hotspots. Here are some of the fun results!

All of the usual suspects are here–raccoon, groundhog, skunk, squirrel, fox and deer, deer, deer. I won’t say we’ve recovered much from 2018’s outbreak of Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease, but there are still some deer here. Forest understory growth has benefitted from a break from excessive herbivory.
