Crow’s Nest: Long-term internship applications open
By Daniel Barringer, Preserve Manager.
Our 11-month long paid internship at Crow’s Nest Preserve, a position which runs September 2019 through August 2020, is now open for applications.
The intern will assist with land management as well as help plan and run the educational programs at the 621-acre nature preserve in Chester County. The intern will gain experience in a variety of nature-based educational techniques, as well as learn about the work of a land trust, become familiar with local flora, and gain experience in land stewardship practices, including the use of powered brush cutters, tractor, lawnmower, chainsaw and trimmers. This is a hands-on position with training provided and housing on-site. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who loves the outdoors and sharing their experience with others.
