Crow’s Nest: JROTC volunteer cleanup

Last week students from Owen J. Roberts’ Junior ROTC program put in an afternoon of work doing more cleanup at the former Warwick Woods Campground, now part of Crow’s Nest Preserve. Major demolition work at the site means that there was a lot of small pieces of trash generated, and there’s no way to clean it up except by hand, preferably many hands. We filled the truck with trash and also pulled several bags of garlic mustard at the edge of the former swimming pool.

We are grateful for the students’ contribution of time, effort, and enthusiasm.
