Crow’s Nest: Frost report and fall color outlook

We awoke to our first frost on Friday, October 19. It was a nice break from the muggy humid season we’ve had so far. Now we’re seeing some pretty good fall color; the red maples are starting the show. It won’t peak this weekend though it is pretty wonderful. I suspect the peak will be soon and autumn will progress quickly now.
