Crow’s Nest: Fall Foliage Forecast

Leaf peepers alert! While the season so far has been beautiful, we’re not at peak fall color yet. Which is not to say you shouldn’t visit—it’s still spectacular and some of the early trees are turning. Black gum is at its peak and red maple is starting to blaze, so it won’t be long. Peak color should arrive some time next week, though the rain forecast makes it difficult to predict what proportion of the earlier-turning leaves will still be on the trees.
