We are exciting to be hosting a program on June 25, 2022: Habitats are Homes with Wildlife Rehabilitator Dawn White of Indian Run Environmental Education Center. The event will include a demonstration of live, native animals followed by a short hike on the preserve to look at their habitats. This is the first of three events Dawn will be doing with us this year; the others to be held this fall include reptiles and owls.

The event will start promptly at 9 am and last 75 minutes; you are invited to hike further on the preserve while here. The program is designed for adults and kids age 6 and up; a minimal fee is charged. You can find more details and register here.

This is the first event we’re holding that is sponsored by the Cassandra O. and Dennis B. Lacey Performance Series, designed to bring people to Crow’s Nest Preserve for arts, music, speakers, and other events in order to increase the number of people who come to enjoy the preserve.
