Crow’s Nest: Camp Week 4

August 2, 2011

The seventh and eighth grade camps use Crow’s Nest as a jumping-off point. These kids have been coming to camp for years and have come to know and enjoy Crow’s Nest. Now they explore other open space in the region and look at how Crow’s Nest is part of a network of protected open space Natural Lands Trust helps create and maintain.

The kids used kayaks to explore the waters of the Big Woods and the Schuylkill River and splash in French Creek at St. Peter’s Village. They also explored Fulshaw Craeg, a Natural Lands Trust preserve in the Unami Creek watershed.

These photos are by Sean Quinn and Meredith Mayer top to bottom respectively.
