Crow’s Nest Camp 2023 Week Three

The third week of summer camp at Crow’s Nest is for the 1st and 2nd graders, where our goal is to make sure kids are comfortable outdoors in nature. They explore one dedicated part of the preserve along Pine Creek. In the photo above I am struck by how relaxed the toad looks in the child’s hands.

Pine Creek is a great place to look for fish, build a dam, or just go for a run. There were activities on land as well but with the hot weather the stream was welcoming.
