 2 Bluebird Eggs

I have two different pairs of bluebirds starting nests this week.  One of the boxes has two eggs, and the other has one egg.  By next week, their clutches should be complete and they will be sitting on their eggs.  I think one of the nests is from the pair that successfully fledged 4 young earlier this spring.  The second nest is in the yard, and that pair built a nest in fits and starts but never laid eggs.  I finally removed the incomplete nest,  and that seemed to motivate them to start all over and lay eggs.  I’ll keep readers posted.
