First Friday Hike – sold out

April 5, 2024 | 10:00 am - 11:30 am

A dirt path lined by bluebells in early spring.

Event is sold out. Please connect with us at another adventure outdoors.

Join Force of Nature® volunteer David Deaville for a guided hike at Stroud Preserve. Together, we’ll get to know other outdoor-loving friends during one of the best seasons at the preserve. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or a beginner, the trails offer a mix of challenges and rewards for all levels.

We’ll make a few stops along the way to point out preserve highlights and the land management strategies we use to enhance wildlife habitat and facilitate public use.

Before you go:

  • With the recent rain, mud is guaranteed! There is one (very small) stream crossing with stepping stones.
  • Boots and a walking stick (we will have one to borrow on tricky areas) are useful for confidence and balance.
  • Please use the private entrance at 449 Lucky Hill Road, not the public lot on Creek Road and plan at least ten minutes before the start time.
  • This will give you a chance to traverse the long driveway slowly and of course give way to visitors (There will be plenty) using the driveway as a trail.
  • Event signs will guide you along the way, stay left at all intersections and head up to the red barn.
  • Please leave your four-legged friends at home.
  • Bathrooms will be available.
