Crow’s Nest: Welcome Molly Smyrl

September 5, 2012

After many years in different roles: summer intern, membership staffer, and volunteer, Molly Smyrl has joined our staff as a full time Educator at Crow’s Nest.

She recently completed Master’s degree in Environmental Education at Antioch University and will be expanding our programs at the preserve. This summer she played a key role in planning our summer camp and has worked at other nature camps including POK-O-MacCready Camp’s year-round programs.

Molly received her undergraduate degree at Brown University and spent the summers of 2002 and 2003 as a Land Stewardship and Education intern at Crow’s Nest. After graduation she worked full-time in the membership office at Natural Lands Trust. She continued volunteering for Crow’s Nest while completing her Masters and based her Capstone project on evaluating new programs here.

We are very excited to have her on board!
