Crow’s Nest: Fall color at peak

I know it’s somewhat subjective, but we think fall color is at its best this week at Crow’s Nest. I took these photos early this morning with my phone.

This is of the same grove of red maples from two different angles. The red maples are responsible for the peak fall color; the dogwoods and sassafras that looked great last week also still do.

So if you were going to do some leaf-peeping, now is the time to go.
