zone to maximize green

Vibrant communities expand and change. When municipal leaders make smart, proactive decisions today, their towns can green as they grow tomorrow.

Each time land is developed, there is an opportunity to add to community open space. All that’s needed are a few straightforward amendments to existing municipal codes.  We call this Growing Greener: Conservation by Design.

make a plan

Homes, businesses, bridges, highways, creeks, parks, trails. How can they all co-exist, and even thrive in a way that keeps people connected to their outdoor spaces?

Natural Lands works with municipalities to create parks, recreation, trails and open space plans so that communities can make informed decisions about how they will invest.
