The grand Tudor Revival-style Main House’s first floor and adjoining outdoor terraces, along with a full catering kitchen, is an elegant gathering space that can accommodate 125 guests seated/175 standing.

The Pool House can accommodate 25 guests seated/35 standing, with an adjacent bluestone terrace that can be tented to increase the accommodation to 80 guests seated/110 standing. Please see the “Pool House” section at the end of this document for further information about tenting the Pool House terrace.

All guests must park in the main parking lot located at 1829 County Line Road. This parking lot can accommodate 66 vehicles, including three accessible spaces. Additional parking is available at the Main House lot for vendors. Additional parking options may be available for larger groups.

The Main House is accessible for people who use wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices. There is an elevator, and accessible restrooms are located on the first floor of the building.

The Pool House is accessible for people who use wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices. Two accessible restrooms are located along the side of the building.

Pathways from the parking lot are lighted and accessible. The distance from the parking lot to the Main House is 0.25 miles and the distance to the Pool House is 0.15 miles.

Currently, we are not able to accommodate weddings or wedding receptions. Other events such as rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, anniversary parties, and corporate functions are welcome.

Rentals at Stoneleigh permit the use of the Main House/terrace and the Pool House/terrace. Rental events are not permitted in the garden itself, including all lawn areas, bed spaces, and any other hardscapes such as roads, pathways, or patios. Guests may walk through these areas while in transit to the rental spaces, but setting up chairs, tables, or tents, or conducting any other activity is prohibited.

No. These items must be rented or coordinated through the caterer or other vendor.

Decorations and signage are not to be stapled, screwed, nailed, or affixed in any way that would leave a lasting impression or mark to any existing structure or natural resources at the Garden. Decorations, equipment, and games may not be placed on lawn or grounds outside the limits of designated events spaces. Those placed within these limits cannot be placed in a way that would cause any damage or create large holes in the lawn/ground. Rice, birdseed, bubble solution, confetti, glitter, silly string, sparklers, drones, and fireworks are not permitted anywhere on the premises. Candles are prohibited. Battery-operated votives are permitted.

Events in the Main House must be catered. For smaller groups renting the Pool House, you may bring in your own food.

Each rental allows for two hours of set up prior to start time and one hour of clean up after end time.

Yes, AV is available in both the Main House and the Pool House for an additional charge and must be requested in advance.

Staff-led tours of the house and/or garden are offered at an hourly rate of $150 per guide. Maximum group size per tour is 25 people per guide. No more than three guides can be booked per event. The subject and length of the tour is customizable to your event needs.

A refundable security deposit of $250 is due at the time of reservation. The full rental fee is due two weeks prior to the event. The security deposit will be refunded following the event provided the client has adhered to all terms of the rental agreement.

No, at this time, we are not offering discount rates for non-profit organizations or Natural Lands members.

Cancellation notice received at least two weeks prior to the event date are subject to a full refund, excluding the security deposit. No refund is guaranteed if cancellation is received within the two-week period prior to the event date, unless cancellation is due to unforeseeable circumstances.

Rain dates may be requested for rentals of the Pool House because this space is mostly outdoors. We cannot offer rain dates for Main House rentals.

If the garden must be closed to the public for safety reasons (i.e. hazardous weather conditions), all private events during that time will be cancelled. If possible, the event will be rescheduled, or the renter will receive a full refund.
