Woodland Stonecrop

Sedum ternatum ‘Larinum Park’

An adorable and tough-as-nails groundcover for dry shade to full sun. Unlike other sedum species, Woodland Stonecrop prefers more soil moisture and doesn’t mind some shade. In its native eastern range, it can be found on rocky woodland outcrops, stream banks, and even trail edges. This low-growing succulent will slowly spread to form an attractive textural carpet and every spring it will delight by lighting up with hundreds of tiny, white, star-like flowers. ‘Larinum Park’ is a floriferous selection with a well-behaved growth habit discovered in West Virginia by The Primrose Path plant breeders.

Conditions: Full sun to partial shade; average to moist soil
Size: 6″ tall
Zone: 3 – 9
Wildlife value: Provides for early spring pollinators
