Variegated Garden Phlox

Phlox paniculata ‘Norah Leigh’

Tall garden phlox is a classic for good reason. The stately form stands up well in a mixed border and the dazzling summer flowers are cherished by gardeners the world over. But what would happen if this time honored plant was somehow blasted by an interstellar alien shockwave from the future?  The answer to this completely implausible scenario is Phlox ‘Norah Leigh’. This amazing plant actually seems to have more laser etched yellow variegation than boring green leaf. Even the emerging rosettes in the spring outshine most flowers with their cosmic splendor. Speaking of flowers, well it has those too. Gentle pink petals are anchored with fuchsia eyes, all profusely born atop sturdy stems aka butterfly landing pads. This phlox can be hard to find, so get this one while you can.
