Shooting Star
Primula meadia
Whoever named this plant “shooting star” got it just right. The delicate blooms range in shade from white to pink to purple, but they all add a touch of cosmic whimsy to any woodland garden. These plants are not difficult to grow, and once they’re established, you’ll look forward to their fanciful show each spring before they go dormant in summer to wait patiently for the following spring.
