Clematis texensis ‘Princess Diana’

From the Greek word “klematis” meaning to climb and named for the beautiful Princess of Wales, ‘Princess Diana’ is a showstopper! This small deciduous climbing vine flowers continuously from summer to early autumn. Perfect for a fence, trellis, or a lamppost, ‘Princess Diana’ bloom with deep pink, showy, trumpet-shaped flowers about two inches long with delicate white margins. And even after the long bloom season, the flowers are replaced with equally showy seed heads that provide near season-round interest. Fast growth, long bloom season, and stunning flowers making this vine a true ‘vine of the people’.
