Fragrant Sumac
Rhus aromatica ‘Lacette’
This species is highly adaptable, deer resistant, and not too fussy about light requirements, making it the perfect plant for places where almost nothing else will grow. With more diminutive lacey leaves, ‘Lacette’ is a genteel new selection that elevates this already fine shrub to must-have status. As the seasons move on, fuzzy reddish-orange berries appear followed by smoldering red fall color. Fragrant Sumac never looked (or smelled) so good.
