False Solomon’s Seal
Maianthemum racemosum
With graceful, arching stems and plume-like clusters of white flowers in spring, False Solomon’s Seal is a wonderful shade plant. In summer, flowers give way to berries that mature to an attractive, deep red before the entire plant dies back to the ground before autumn. This woodland classic is stunning en masse or among a backdrop of ferns.
