Bluets
Houstonia caerulea
Tiny, delicate, and absolutely adorable! Bluets delight in the garden with their diminutive stature and small but lovely pale purple blooms in the springtime. They are a wonderful addition to rock gardens or walls, path edges, or low-traffic lawn areas. Despite their delicate nature, they are easy to grow in the right conditions, as long as they don’t have too much competition. Add a few to that mossy area of your yard, and watch as they naturalize and put on their tiny show!
