Baldcypress
Taxodium distichum ‘Peve Minaret’
This incredible dwarf selection of bald cypress grows to about 30 feet tall and 10 feet wide. Even at a young age, its dense branching resembles a much older tree, but when mature it becomes decidedly plump and adorable. The ferny foliage is so lacy and so fluffy and oh-so irresistible. Highly adaptable to a wide range of soil conditions when established. This should be planted much more widely.
