Luke Hamilton

Preserve Manager

Luke joined the full-time staff in 2013, first as a stewardship assistant; he was later promoted to preserve manager. Prior to working for Natural Lands, Luke completed ecological restoration projects for a number of area conservation organizations.

Luke credits his experiences growing up on a family orchard for his strong connection to nature. Luke names a shovel—“and a good heart”—as a daily necessity for his work. He recently planted the last of 1,100 trees at our Paunacussing Preserve in Bucks County, PA, as part of a reforestation project.

Luke is certified in Wilderness First Aid and an Eagle Scout. He earned a B.A. in Environmental Science from Drew University.
