Lisa V. Hancock

Director of Institutional Giving

(she/her/hers)

As part of our Development Department, Lisa manages foundation and corporate relationships. In this role, she connects these partners to Natural Lands while helping them achieve their philanthropic goals.

Lisa has spent most of her career in the non-profit world. Before joining Natural Lands, she worked for nine years with Montgomery County Lands Trust until it merged with Natural Lands in 2012. She then served as director of development for the Chester County Fund for Women and Girls, and later held the same title at Riverbend Environmental Organization. Said Lisa, “I feel incredibly fortunate to devote my time and energy to organizations with powerful conservation and education missions.”

Lisa has always felt a strong connection to the natural world. Her favorite place outdoors is along the Schuylkill River Trail. “The river’s colors and its collection of birds change every day, with every walk.”

Lisa received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Calvin University, and an MA in liberal arts from the University of Pennsylvania.
