Lee C. Shull

Preserve Manager

In addition to managing 3,200 acres of fields and forest at our Reineman Wildlife Sanctuary in Carlisle, PA, Lee serves as our liaison to the Environmental Studies Department at Dickinson College, with which we are partnering on studies about the environmental effects of deer overpopulation in Pennsylvania.

A certified sawyer and pesticide applicator, Lee worked for the PA Game Commission prior to joining at Natural Lands. He counts the day he was hired among his best. “I finally had a job that made it easy to get out of bed in the morning. Almost 20 years later, that’s still the case.”

Lee has raised his daughter and three sons at Reineman. His youngest, Jarrod, is also a member of our stewardship staff. His favorite place to be outside is in the mountains near his home.

Ask Lee about: hunting wild turkey.
