Conservation Project Manager

As Conservation Project Manager, Kate’s work supports the land protection and planning teams. Through mapping and GIS support, open space planning, ordinance review, conservation easement preparation and myriad other activities, Kate helps Natural Lands save land across the region.

Kate’s previous work experience includes The Food Trust where she automated a food access mapping process, Econsult Solutions where she mapped census data to enhance understanding of local real estate trends, and the New Jersey Office of Smart Growth where she worked with municipalities to update their Master Plans and Zoning Codes.

Her favorite place in nature is in meadows near rivers because of the myriad of birds during the day and bats at night.

Kate graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Design with a master’s in Urban Spatial Analytics. Her BS is in Environmental Policy, Institutions, and Behavior from Rutgers.
