Charles J. Carrier

Vice President of Human Resources

Charles has had a diverse career that includes human resources management, executive search, corporate finance, operations, sales, learning and development, and project management.

Charles has been a managing partner in a boutique executive search firm that globally serviced large corporate pharmaceutical, clinical research, medical device, and medical diagnostic companies. Additionally, the firm provided executive search and human resources consulting services to small to medium sized firms.

Charles’ career has included providing counsel to management in areas such as compensation, employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, change management, workforce planning, onboarding, retention, learning and development, technology, project management, and social media. He has also developed and delivered training programs such as manager 101 and 102, behavioral interviewing, core competency hiring selection, recruiting, sexual harassment, unconscious bias, and diversity and inclusion.

Prior to joining Natural Lands, Charles has provided human resources consulting services to several companies including NYC’s Administration of Children Services, the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, Bergen’s Promise, Inc., the Center for Supportive Schools, and the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary. Previous employment included strategic human resources roles at the Princeton Theological Seminary, Quest Diagnostics, Inc., and Genpact, LLC, as well as a corporate finance role at JPMorgan Chase.

Charles has a BA in Political Science and Spanish Literature from Columbia University and has earned an MBA with a concentration in finance from New York University Stern School of Business.
