Becky is in charge of engagement activities at our ChesLen Preserve, including programs and events at the Lenfest Center, the beautiful, eco-friendly meeting and stewardship facility that was completed in 2013. Since Becky joined us, ChesLen has been bustling with volunteer activities, engaging public events, facility rentals, and community meetings. The biggest event so far—the ChesLen Chase for Open Space—drew more than300 trail runners to the preserve for its inaugural race!
A runner and former triathlete who is always on the move, Becky is up for anything, including her hour-plus daily commute—as long as she’s had her mocha cappuccino. Prior to working for Natural Lands, Becky led the Little River Wetlands Project, a wetlands restoration non-profit in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Becky earned a B.S. in Environmental Policy from Indiana University.
