Kristen Henwood

Director of Conservation Easement Program

Kristen oversees staff and activities in our conservation easement program.  

Prior to joining Natural Lands, she spent six years at Willistown Conservation Trust assisting with the easement program, the management of nature preserves, and organizing volunteers. 

Kristen’s favorite place outdoors is anywhere with water so she can paddleboard, kayak, or row. Her love of nature can be traced back to a nature camp she and her brother attended as kids. “I can still remember running through the wildflower meadow, collecting bugs, and finding fox dens in the woods.” 

Kristen holds a Master of Environmental Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. Her undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Marietta College.
