Kristen Bower

Art Director

As Art Director, Kristen oversees the organization’s brand identity by maintaining a distinctive and consistent visual style throughout our print material, signage, email, social media, and website, and by leading our design team to create and deliver inspirational, high-quality projects. She is also responsible for hands-on design and production.

Prior to working for Natural Lands, she spent over seven years at Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS). As the Director of Creative Services, she oversaw brand alignment across all print and digital platforms, including website and video, and designed everything from brochures, invitations, annual reports, and billboards, to digital ads and graphics for social media, emails, and the website. She was also responsible for art directing and designing all advertising, merchandise, and signage for the annual Philadelphia Flower Show.

Prior to working at PHS, Kristen spent over 20 years art directing and designing CDs and DVDs for independent musicians and filmmakers while working as Senior Art Director for Disc Makers.

Kristen received a BFA in graphic design and a certificate in website design from the University of the Arts.
