Kit Werner

Senior Director of Communications

As senior director of communications, Kit works to share Natural Lands’ mission, success stories, and much more with the community and the media. In addition to writing our magazine, brochures, and interpretive signs, Kit is responsible for the organization’s “digital footprint.”

Prior to working for Natural Lands, she spent several years at Tyler Arboretum and Mt. Cuba Center, respectively. Her first job was selling cars (minus the plaid pants).

“I’m proud of myself for making the leap from the corporate world to the non-profit one. It was scary at the time, but I wouldn’t go back for the world.”

Kit received B.A.s in English and psychology from Bucknell University.
