Temporary Administrative Clerk

Position Summary

The Temporary Administrative Clerk will perform administrative and clerical tasks, as assigned during a period of staff reorganization.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collect, sort, and deliver mail and UPS packages; Prepare single and bulk envelopes; Prepare certified mailings, as requested; Assist staff to determine correct postage;
  • Perform typing assignments, Reformat Word documents for consistency and professional presentation; Create new documents from notes
  • Perform copying and scanning projects; Create digital files from scans
  • Collate documents; Use the binding machine for various reports/baselines;
  • Assist with bulk mailings
  • Assist with setting up for luncheon meeting or other special meetings
  • Assist with special projects upon request

Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions

This is an office-based position, requiring frequent sitting for long periods, with occasional periods of walking, standing, bending and reaching. The position requires use of the computer and the telephone and sometimes handling large printed materials or packages for mailing
