Winter time is a great time to get outdoors and explore trails! Join Natural Lands Trust staff and volunteers on an invigorating hike through ChesLen Preserve. (Conditions do not favor snowshoes, according to Saturday’s forecast!)

We’ll trek about 3 miles on rugged, uneven terrain. Afterwards, we’ll stoke the outdoor fireplace and warm-up with steaming bowls of delicious soup and hot chocolate.

The hike traverses beautiful woodlands and meadows of Natural Lands Trust’s 1,263-acre ChesLen Preserve. Stark trees and frosty fields provide inspiring winter landscape to photograph and admire. One of the largest private nature preserves in southeastern Pennsylvania, ChesLen offers more than 31 miles of trails to hike and explore. There are many points on the property from which visitors can gaze for miles in any direction and see virtually no signs of modern development.
