Popsicles in the Playground – SOLD OUT
ChesLen Preserve | Wed, July 24, 2019, 10:00am - 12:00pm
Event is sold out. Please join us for another fun adventure outside!
Ollie Owl invites families for an afternoon picnic in our NaturePlayGround! Children can search for bugs, get muddy, create nature crafts to take home, and then cool down with a popsicle treat.
Kiddos are encouraged to explore at their own pace, so stay and play as little or long as you like in this drop-in event. Ollie Owl’s NaturePlayGround is designed for children ages 4-12 years old, but older kids and adults have fun too! Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
We love seeing kids having fun outdoors! Post your photos on social media with #natlands to tag us.
ChesLen Preserve is the largest privately owned nature preserve open to the public in Chester County. Miles of marked hiking trails lead visitors through shady woodlands, flower-filled meadows, fields of corn and soybeans, and stream valleys.
Visitors can also explore Ollie Owl’s NaturePlayGround, where young explorers can climb logs, build stick tee-pees, hunt for bugs, explore small streams, and get a little dirty, tired, and inspired. Free play is encouraged and is a great way for kids to gain an appreciation for nature.
Wear sturdy shoes for exploring uneven terrain.
Ollie Owl’s trail is not suitable for most strollers.
Please leave your four-legged friends at home.
Ollie Owl’s NaturePlayGround is located at 1199 Cannery Road, Coatesville, PA. Look for the signs an the far end of the parking area to guide you down the trail to the NaturePlayGround.
Restrooms are available at the Lenfest Center pavilion.
Play at your own risk.
The NaturePlayGround is closed during inclement weather and high winds.
