Pints on the Preserve – SOLD OUT
Stroud Preserve | Thu, May 23, 2019, 6:00pm - 8:00pm
EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT!
Kick-off Memorial Day weekend with Pints on the Preserve!
We’ll enjoy a leisurely walk, exploring all that Stroud has to offer. Set your own pace or let us guide you along the two-mile route while taking “sip-stops” along the way to sample some ales, lagers, and other brews.
All participants should use the back entrance to Stroud located at 449 LUCKY HILL RD, WEST CHESTER, PA and follow Natural Lands’ yard signs to park behind the Stroud Barn. The drive is a mile-long stone lane. Please stay left at all forks and factor this into your arrival time.
Stroud Preserve is a mosaic of once-pastured grasslands, working farmlands, and woodlands that serves as a unique site for recreation, education, and scientific research. Here, you can see the needs of people and nature in balance as careful stewardship of both cultivated and “wild” areas restores vital wildlife habitat while also protecting watersheds that provide drinking water for tens-of-thousands of people.
Dress for the season and wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes
Participants should dress appropriately for the hike including sturdy shoes and rain jacket, if necessary.
In case of light rain, the hike will take place as scheduled, but beer samples will be moved to the rustic barn.
Adults 21 and over only.
Please leave your four-legged friends at home.
Registration required to reserve your spot. Please complete and submit the secure, on-line registration form below, or call 610-353-5587 ext. 221. $10 Natural Lands member, $15 non-member.
Not already a member, or you need to renew? Purchase membership AND event tickets below!
Events may be cancelled due to inclement weather or low registration. In that case, we will make every effort to update our website and contact registrants. Note that we cannot offer refunds of paid registrations or ticket purchases, but rest assured that your donation will help us in our work to save open space, care for nature, and connect people to the outdoors.
