Be an Arborist

Pier 68, Philadelphia Waterfront | Sun, April 28, 2019, 1:00pm - 3:00pm

Kids, grab your favorite adults to discover the importance of trees! From woodpecker hideouts and food for all, to essential oxygen and cooling shade, trees give us gifts year round.

Trees exhibit unique adaptations that enable them to thrive in cities, along rivers, and in open spaces. Natural Lands staff and volunteers guide an urban adventure on the waterfront, full of cool information and hands-on activities.

Natural Lands is pleased to be a part of the Philadelphia Science Festival with this family-friendly event. We join a host of partners in a community-wide celebration of science, providing opportunities for all Philadelphians to positively engage with and build a community around science, engineering, and technology.
